Alzheimer Scotland provides personalised support services to people with dementia, including people under the age of 65. Dementia Advisors based on Oxford St are available for a wide range of support and advice, and services include specialist home support, day opportunities, day care, carer support and education, benefits and legal advice, representation.

Alzheimer Scotland has a 24 Dementia Helpline, a Freephone Scottish service for support and advice at any time.

A free, confidential phone line you can call when you are feeling stressed or down. Breathing Space is open from early evening till 2am and can offer help, advice and information, as well as a listening ear.

Breathing Space is particularly well-placed to listen to men: helping them to open up when they're feeling down.

CALM is the Campaign Against Living Miserably.

It is geared to helping young men, aged 15-35, who feel unhappy with their life. It offers counselling, advice and information about dealing with depression and low self-esteem.

The phone helpline is open from Saturday to Tuesday, 5pm till midnight.
