Safe environment and drop-in facility for homeless people to access. As well as basic assistance and a non-profit making café, the Wayside also offers structured activities to provide opportunities for meaningful occupation.
Supports homeless women by providing advice, advocacy and referrals regarding accommodation, benefits, health, legal issues, offending and substance dependence. Does not provide counselling but does refer on and signpost women to appropriate services.
• The day centre is open Monday to Friday:9.30am - 5.00pm (Duty service 10am -4pm;
Drop in & Cafe 12 - 4pm except Thursday when the centre closes and services
finish at 3pm)
• Women can self refer or be referred by another agency
• Service users need to be able to speak English.
